Come back soon for 2025 camp dates!

We are fully dedicated to empowering young minds through the fusion of education and technology. Our mission is to ignite inspiration and cultivate future innovators and solution seekers by offering accessible and captivating learning experiences.

With this vision at the forefront, we've crafted a comprehensive computer science camp tailored to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and technical prowess among youth.

Introducing the Tackling Tech Computer Science Camp—a dynamic two-week program delving into the captivating realm of computer programming. Designed for high school students entering grades 10–12 in the forthcoming 2024–2025 academic year, this daytime camp unfolds modularly, covering diverse aspects of computer science. From foundational principles to cutting-edge topics like coding, Microsoft Fundamentals, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), participants are guided by seasoned instructors employing a project-based methodology for engaging and practical learning.

Expect hands-on projects, professional development workshops, and enlightening guest speaker sessions. Participants will forge connections with peers and mentors, refining their problem-solving skills. Moreover, they'll enjoy fitness activities led by none other than Justin Reid himself, as well as the opportunity to create portfolio pieces and earn a Certificate of Completion personally signed by Reid.

Why?

The program was inspired by NFL Safety Justin Reid, who has been a mentor and supporter since its inception. Reid expressed his enthusiasm for the camp, saying:

I am thrilled about this camp to return, as it fulfills a dream I've long held. Growing up, I didn't have access to programs like this. My introduction to coding happened during my time at Stanford, so I'm eager to introduce these young minds to the world of computer science. Regardless of one's chosen career path, proficiency in technology is invaluable."
